Educational institutions today seem to be in a constant state of change. New technologies are always emerging, regulations change, and research evolves. As these changes are happen, how do we infuse positive technology integration across the institution effectively? Through this session, participants will explore various technologies that can be integrated into the classroom to encourage innovative course design and student success, as well as, discuss challenges that may be faced through educational technology implementation.

In this workshop, we'll demonstrate the use of Applied Learning in the Computer Science program at SUNY Ulster. Students participate in teams to develop applications for real customers on campus using Agile methodologies. Faculty will give an overview of this program along with a brief demo of several student projects.

Join this workshop to harness the power of tech tools (ThingLink, Powtoon, FlipGrid, EdPuzzle, AdobeSpark, and Hyperdocs) that will help you enhance teaching and empower student learning. You will experience the power of educational technology in transforming classwork from mono-dimensional consumption into multimodal, interactive, collaborative creation, production, and sharing.
